Goose Island State Park

When Goose Island State Park constructed a new boardwalk overlooking their restored marshlands, park staff wanted to include some interpretation of the habitat and the endangered whooping cranes it supports. Erin served as project manager for the interpretation, coordinating the interpretive planning, graphic design, fabrication and installation.

Major components of the project included:

  • Editing text for thematic structure and content;
  • Managing image acquisitions;
  • Overseeing graphic design and fabrication contracts; and
  • Coordinating installation with contractors and park staff.
