In September 2018, the Briscoe Center for American History at the University of Texas – Austin asked McKinney York Architects and Erin McClelland Museum Services to update its Hatfield Classroom. The focus of the project was the addition of a large-scale reproduction of the Briscoe Center’s 1849 daguerreotype of the Alamo – the oldest known photographic image taken in Texas. Other upgrades included installing dimensional letters on the lectern and adding a clock to the room.
EMMS was responsible for project management, graphic design and production, custom framing, and installation of all elements.
