I’m happy to announce that I’ll be teaching a workshop for the Texas Association of Museums and the Texas Historical Commission in December. Based on a curriculum developed by AASLH, “Can You Hear Me Now? Connecting to Visitors through Real Stories of Artifacts and Place,” focuses on storytelling in museums and object-based interpretation. This workshop is open to the public, is quite affordable at only $35 per person, and has plenty of hands-on activities and opportunities for student participation. The first presentation of the workshop will be on Friday, December 6 at the Brenham Heritage Museum. You can register through the Texas Association of Museums here. Hope to see you there!
